-Erin- So... A dear friend of mine suggested I read VE about a week ago. At first I had to give those ohmywhathaveigottenmyselfinto?-eyebrows, but by the time I'd gotten through the first section or so, I was completely enthralled. Yeah, admitted, I can't rightfully be one of those 'i've been through something just like this' cases, but I think we all know (well, all of us who aren't mutton) what it's like to be ostracized. So basically, I just wanted to say that I love your comic, and that I'm glad to see an artist out there who puts so much of themself into their work. Hey Erin. I've been following Venus Envy for years (and re-read it a couple times), and I must say I really love your art style and how it has changed and developed over time. I've always looked forward to the days when VE updates, and I plan on continuing that as long as this comic, or other comics you create exist. The story line is great, and has had me anxiously awaiting the next update to find out what happens next many times. Hi Erin! I just got a link of this side from a friend, and I could not stop to read it. Finally, it was 6 am and I was through all the years of drawing.. First I thought they're just a few stripes with "insider"-jokes.. but then, when the story really started, I had to cry such a lot after a few pages.. I could identify so much with Zöe, and it reminds me of all the feelings I had just 1 or 2 years ago in school, in my family and all those stuff.. Things I wanted to forget, but didn't.. I was really caught to read the story to the "end".. and I can't wait for the next stripes.. it's the first comic which let me cry and feel happy, and feel all those emotions that much! I have to say, I really, really, REALLY love your comic. I've never actually read a comic about a transsexual girl OR boy, and I never thought of reading something about people who were homosexual, or bisexual. And thats only because there are a few people I know that have those specific sexualities, and they try to push it on others. I've never had a problem with it, don't get me wrong, but after reading this comic and being able to understand the feelings people like that have(after being outted, or restricted to a certain group of available friends), I had a lot more respect(albeit mingled with some pity) for every person like that. Not to mention, I absolutely adore your artistic and writing skills. I wish I could draw like you...one more thing, since I need to wrap up this ramble, expect some fanart coming your way, since I love making pixel arts of Zoe, as well as drawing her...though I really need to do some of Eric...and Shay.
