When I first discovered your comic (by way of someone sharing your post-election commentary), I did little else for 3 days, other than read (and re-read, and share with my husband and daughter) each and every strip. Yes, I've seen better art (especially when looking at your early work), but even at the very beginning of the strip, you had so many levels of depth of character to offer the reader. You have a triumph here in these three years of work, and I fully expect that three years from now, I will be coming to your site on a daily basis, to read your new work -- even if your updates are irregular.
This comic is what inspired me to (at long last) create a home page with links to the sites I visit daily, to save me flipping through the folders of my favourites. I can only wonder how many other changes, large and small, you have inspired in the many many people whose lives I am sure you have touched with this creative work.
I hope you take due pride in your work; humility has its place, but so does honest self-respect.
One other question -- are there any further plans for "dead tree" versions of the comic? If not, can I recommend that you look into something like the print-on-demand services at Cafe Press (to save you the print run charges)? I've done publishing-related work before, and I believe in the potential of this strip to reach people -- and to reach more people, if someone can buy a hardcopy of the comic and donate it to their local LBGT support group.
Regardless of whether one is LBGT or not, though, I think you've got so much to say, and such a gift for reaching the reader when you say it, that I can only toast VE's anniversary by saying "may there be many more to come"! :)
Best wishes,
"Copper Phoenix"

I'm glad I found this strip... I've been spending the last three days devouring all of them... Job and house work be damned... Thank you for creating it...

Wow, congratulations Erin! I've been reading for a long time now, and it's amazing to watch your artwork and the characters change. You're an inspiration to many people, anyone who wants to express themselves and isn't sure how. Thank you =D

Can I flame you about your bad grammar? ("Letter's" instead of "letters".)
Totally kidding by the way. Good job.

I hope You are OK Erin, only one strip in the last week makes me worry something bad has happened. I hope it's something ordinary or good, e.g. new relationship.
