Wow. this comic is really good, I usually steer clear of any comics that involve such things as trans and other things like such but for some reason I kept reading and It is actually pretty good, and I congratulate for your work and I cant wait to find out Lisa's response <(^.^)>

Hello Erin A friend linked your comic in her LJ, and all I can say is damn her for doing so. I spent 3 hours or so reading VE from start to current day, which caused me to think Damn you too Erin, just before I added both VE and VA to my favouritres list. The art is excellent and the characterisation is some of the strongest I've ever seen. Simply put (albeit a cliche) I love this strip. It is excellent. Please do not listen to the political critics, ( I doubt you were going to, but what the hey) Say what needs to be said, and carry on regardless of what anybody may think in detriment to you. Well done with the comic so far, And Thank you.

The comic is amazing, you have a talent in making all the characters come to life, wonderful to see that authors can still write such three dimensional people. Kudos, madam, kudos. Also, the work for 19/11 (I'm English), is very touching. Skull Bearer.

Hey there! I got here from some top of keenspace listing... I think i've been by before while looking for "passing tips" on a previous storyline I drew...and I wanted to say I fully support your rant, both the one about the state of the US, and the one about people wanting you to shut up and draw. Sheesh. I DO admire how you interrupted your storyline to write what was on your mind. I did a new story right after the election too if you would be interested in checking it out. (see url) keep up the great work. And you do know T-Gina, no??

Am I allowed to digitally glomp you? Your comics have made me laughed and touched my heart, reminding me of things that happened to me long ago that I was trying so hard to suppress rather than face. Funny that a comic strip can help make me face my past. Love yas~

I'm from Seattle, Wa. USA and my sister sent me the link from California. I started at comic #1 and ended up reading for five straight hours, laughing all the way. Venus Envy is seriously brilliant. I thought your political cartoons were right on and I've been e-mailing them to folks. I've also written a couple of "letters to the editor". You are an exceptionally talented artist, and I wish you all the success in the world.

You are doing a great job with the comic AND the editorials. I disagree with some of the opinions on Bush and Kerry that have been expressed in both the media and locally. I DO support EVERYONE's right to express their opinion! I think it was a bad choice either way *shrug* but as I didn't vote I have no right to gripe about who was chosen. Your comic has been a true eye opener for me. I never realized what it was I was feeling until Larson pointed it out to me. Thank you, Erin, and tell the people trying to make you a trained monkey to kiss your beautiful behind!

I have absolutely no objections to your post-election reaction. In fact, I applaud it ^_^ *I'd* have voted for Kerry if I wasn't a dang furriner, and I was hoping Kerry would win. Sigh. ...what nobody realises about American politics is that US policies get quickly echoed by Aussie suck-up politicians. Gah. I swear, sometime Australia tries too hard to be the next 8 states... But I digress. You have one more hetero Xtian breeder on your side! Huzzah! We're not *all* overly-moralistic fascist arseholes ;) Thanks for the fab webcomic! ::huggles!::
